Roger got promoted to CW4 in January 2009. The guy in the picture with him is our good friend CW4 Cruz. He and Roger were in the same Warrant class and have promoted through the Warrant ranks together. So we did a double promotion for CW4. His beautiful wife and and family were there as well as you will see.
This is right before we pinned Roger with his new rank. The man next to Roger is COL Delgado, Roger's boss. He had sooo many great things to say about Roger and his hard work!
He also had some jokes for us!! :) LOL
Wow, what a smile! Roger will have 22 years in the Army this July of 09.It gave a great speech thanking God, his family and the others that helped him!
This is when Roger's mom and I got to put his new rank on him...No the rank doesn't go on the lips!!! :) One went on his uniform on one on his beret.
And there you have it ... CW4 Conant!!!!
This is when Cruz got his rank put on. To his right is his wife Ingrid and daughter Nicole. His boss talked about all the things he has done and had a few jokes for us too!
Then Cruz got to give a speech and thank everyone too!
They had us line up on stage so everyone could come by and shake our hands.

This is after the promotion that night, Roger hadn't been feeling well all day so while the boys and I and his mom played board games he crashed out!!!
