Ugly Sweater Contest

Ok, so the story behind this one is..........

Our youth group at church had their youth Christmas party last night and the kids had an ugly sweater contest!
You'll be happy to know that neither one of our boys won. I'm especially happy since Bryan is wearing MY sweater!!!!!

Christmas decor

This year we decided to get a live tree since we haven't had one for 3 years while in Korea.
Bryan helped me decorate the tree...and himself a little bit!

These are the roses Rog had sent to me on my birthday but they go great with the decor!
Such a wonderful, sweet husband I am blessed with!!!

We asked the dogs to help us decorate but they had to catch up on their beauty rest.

Trixie stays on the floor ......while Nika....
thinks she should lay in our bed. Yes, that's my reading chair. As soon as I got up she plopped down and took a nap.

Here is that wonderful man I was talking about earlier. Here he's outside hanging our lights on the roof. He very good at this and I found that I'm very good at holding the ladder!!


So far we only have these ones up, we're working a few more.......

Thanksgiving Vacation in Tyler!

We went to Tyler Texas for the week of Thanksgiving to visit some friends that have retired out of the Army. They live in this great ranch community called Holly Lake Ranch.
Its beautiful there. We spend the week sleeping in and visiting with them.

This is the happy couple Dan and Angela.


So Bryan said he would give me a piggy back ride......who here thinks he'll do that again????

Ok so it was time for a friendly game of ping pong. wow this was interesting since Dan and Roger were the only ones that could play in a civilized way! :)

After a long day of visiting w/ our friend we went back to our condo for a nice relaxing evening of wrestling w/ dad!


Although Steven is bigger than dad and Bryan is almost there, they still can't take him! He's still got it! :)

We had a great time and can't wait to see them again! We miss you guys!!!!
